Red Helmet Training provides many of the California State Fire Marshal classes that you are looking for. FSTEP stands for Fire Service Training and Education Program and CFSTES is California Fire Service Training and Education System. A combination of the classes can go towards becoming a certified firefighter, driver operator, company officer, chief officer, rescue technician, fire instructor, fire investigator or prevention officer.

State Fire Training will be transitioning to the new certification tracks for Company Officer, Chief Officer and Instructor on December 31, 2016.
Red Helmet Training will be working on the new courses to be ready for delivery by sometime next year. If you are currently taking any of these certification tracks you must finalize the series by December 31, 2016 or the classes will no longer be valid.
